In 1987, the idea was born to bring together companies specialized in the production of rubber and rubber-metal components for the automotive sector. Since 1991, S.D.A. s.a.s., owned by the Palmitessa brothers, has led the development of the UNIGOM brand, transforming the original initiative into a structured organizational model based on controlled quality, process integration and selective distribution.
From the earliest stages of development, UNIGOM based its growth on a clear principle: creating value for independent distribution and professional operators by ensuring consistent and verifiable quality standards, supply continuity and organizational coherence.
The expansion of the product range has been central to the company’s growth strategy. The integration of the Deltagom and Ages brands further strengthened the product portfolio, introducing new expertise in suspension arms and consolidating its presence in engine, chassis and suspension system components. Among the most representative products in the UNIGOM catalogue are engine mounts, strut mounts, cooling hoses and turbo hoses. In these segments, the company has built a reputation based on high-quality standards and near-zero return rates.
Today, the catalogue includes over 10,500 part numbers, covering 98% of the European vehicle fleet.
Production of rubber and rubber-metal components takes place in areas with a strong industrial tradition, between Turin and Brescia, where solid know-how in rubber processing and high-precision mold design is concentrated. UNIGOM ensures structured production processes compliant with the most stringent standards, developing components aligned with the technical evolution of next-generation vehicles, increasingly demanding in terms of driving comfort, dynamic stability and vibration control.
